Executive Team
Richard Garner has over three decades’ experience in IT and biometrics and has held executive level positions in company leadership since 2007. Richard is passionate about IdentityE2E, the opportunities that lie ahead, the relationships that exist and will develop in the future, and the continuity of a delivery focussed service to clients that reflects the values and ethos of the company. In 2013 he co-founded IdentityE2E and was subsequently elected by the board of directors to serve as Chief Executive Officer. A particular client focus for Richard at present is managing the IdentityE2E team engaged to provide specialist architectural and biometric services to the Home Office Biometrics (HOB) programme.
Mat is a Chartered Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in technical delivery of enterprise level IT systems in both the private and public sector, including heading the the UK Border Force and Home Office Visa and Immigration systems and the highly successful introduction of the UK Immigration and Asylum Biometric System (IABS) and the UK eGates implementation. Mat is recognised as operating at the top of his profession holding Portfolio, Programme and Head of Test roles in major private and public sector organisations. In 2013 he co-founded IdentityE2E and was subsequently elected by the board of directors to serve as Chief Technology Officer. Mat’s current focus is leading the Cloud Transformation, DevOps & QA area of the business with high-profile clients at the cutting edge of the cloud technology evolution.
Peter spent 16 years at HM Treasury, where he developed extensive expertise in financial management and policy, before transitioning to the Home Office, where he applied his skills in Programme Management. From 2007 onwards, Peter served as a special adviser, focusing on business case development and investment approvals for a wide range of public sector clients, earning a reputation for his strategic insight and pragmatic approach. In 2013, leveraging his extensive experience and industry knowledge, Peter co-founded IdentityE2E. His leadership and vision in commercial matters led to his election by the board of directors to serve as Chief Commercial Officer, where he continues to drive the company's commercial strategy and growth.
As a key member of the company executive team, Dan is responsible for overseeing the organisation's ongoing operations and procedures, ensuring the company's operational efficiency and effectiveness in achieving our business goals. Dan oversees the company's day-to-day administrative and operational functions, working closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to implement the company's strategy and vision. Dan has a passion for ensuring operational excellence, both leading the development and implementation of efficient processes and systems and overseeing the nurture and development of the company staff.
Dr John Gibbons has a passion for technology, science and innovation. With over 20 years experience in the IT industry leading the design and delivery of complex secure systems in the UK Public Sector, including specialising in the field of biometrics and cyber security. As CDO, John has a particular focus on use of digital information and advanced technologies, such as the cloud, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, automation, mobile and social media, to create business value. John is also embedded in our delivery team providing technical architecture services to a key end client of IdentityE2E.

Nick Grahame
Technical architect and delivery manager with many years’ experience of successful delivery, including considerable time on biometric systems and now specialising in the integration and delivery of new cloud-based biometric message gateways and related services.
Keith Dolan
Technical architect and delivery manager with many years’ experience of successful delivery, including considerable time on biometric systems and now specialising in delivery of biometric integration of a new generation of biometric subsystems used by Home Office.
Chris Shearman
Chris is an accomplished solution and application architect with extensive experience in large-scale biometric systems. He now specialises in the transformation of legacy systems to future architectures. His deep expertise ensures seamless integration and enhanced performance.
Jason Courcoux
Technical Architect and delivery manager, specialising in cloud and development environments, including the design, build and deployment across multiple environments. Recognised for his ability to lead technical design and delivery initiatives and troubleshoot problems.

Wasim Haque
With over 30 years of global experience, Wasim is a seasoned Platform Architect specialising in Cloud, DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure Architecture. He has led complex, multi-vendor projects; delivering enterprise IT solutions for public and private sectors, and driving innovation in multi-million-dollar infrastructure initiatives.
Ian Brown
Ian is a Senior Test Manager with extensive expertise in biometric testing, assurance, and evaluation. He has led complex projects involving biometric migration, integration, and conformance testing oversight, bringing deep industry experience to high-stakes biometric environments.
Sijo Kurian
Sijo spearheads our cloud computing projects with over 10 years of experience in the field. His expertise ensures that IdentityE2E delivers robust and scalable cloud solutions. His innovative approach and technical skills are essential to our success in providing cutting-edge cloud services to our clients.
Jack Thomson
Jack is a pro-active and innovative Lead Technical Architect with significant experience in the development, transformation and integration of complex biometric system onto the AWS platform. Jack is a hands-on architect and is also renowned for reducing delivery timescales by building supporting tooling.
